The truth is heading to Denver.
Seven stars of “The X-Files” will reunite at Fan Expo Denver next month in what organizers are billing as the biggest gathering of the show’s cast in years. Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Robert Patrick, Annabeth Gish, Mitch Pileggi, Nicholas Lea and William B. Davis are all confirmed for the four-day pop culture convention at the Colorado Convention Center from May 28 to May 31.
The reunion brings together the sci-fi drama’s two eras under one roof. Anderson and Duchovny, who starred as FBI agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder for the show’s original 1993 debut and became defining figures of 1990s television, will appear alongside Patrick, Gish and Lea, who joined the cast in later seasons. Pileggi, who played the agents’ frequently exasperated boss, Assistant Director Walter Skinner, and Davis, who portrayed the shadowy Cigarette Smoking Man across the series’ entire run, round out the lineup.
Fan Expo Denver said attendees will have opportunities for panel discussions, autographs and photo ops with the cast. Single-day tickets and four-day passes are available at FanExpoHQ.com, with autograph and photo tickets for individual guests sold separately.
The “X-Files” reunion is the latest marquee announcement for what is shaping up to be one of Fan Expo Denver’s largest editions. Organizers have also confirmed cast reunions for “The Lord of the Rings,” “Scream,” “The Goonies” and “Lost.”
Fan Expo Denver is the city’s largest pop culture festival, featuring celebrity Q&As, cosplay competitions, comic and gaming exhibits, panels, workshops and community fan groups. The event takes place at the Colorado Convention Center at 700 14th St. in downtown Denver.
