There’s never an excuse to drink and drive, but here’s even more reason this New Years Eve in Denver…
The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will offer free bus and rail service on New Year’s Eve for the 17th year in a row.
Starting Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 7 p.m. through Thursday, Jan. 1, at 7 a.m., RTD fares will be free.
The free ride service will be available on all RTD services including bus, MetroRide, 16th Street FreeRide, light rail and commuter rail, as well as Access-a-Ride and FlexRide services.
RTD and its partner Molson Coors ask New Year’s Eve revelers use the free service to celebrate responsibly and safely.
In addition to Denver, Molson Coors’ New Year’s Eve Free Rides program will also be offered this year in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.
On Jan. 1, New Year’s Day, RTD services will operate on a holiday schedule and fare collection will resume at 7 a.m.
