Ice Castles are back in Colorado! While the temperatures in Colorado haven’t been conducive to castles made of ice lasting very long, this week, ice castles return to Colorado!
As Colorado gets set for the beginning of winter this weekend, ice castles will be returning to Silverthorne and soon to Cripple Creek.
Featuring ice slides, ice caverns and archways, a frozen tap ice bar and ice tunnels, one of the top winter activities for Coloradans returns at a time where much of Colorado has not received much cold weather, but instead has gotten a record-long stretch of 60-degree days in December.
Silverthorne’s location is opening Friday, December 19. Currently, Cripple Creek is showing tickets available beginning on January 10.
