I’ve always thought my kids would never get to have the joy of going into a giant store dedicated to toys after Toys ‘R’ Us closed all of their stores back in 2017, but they’re back!!
The 10,000-square-foot retail location opened Saturday at the Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton, near Old Navy, at 13801 Grant St.
The Thornton location is part of a plan to open 10 new flagship stores and 20 seasonal holiday shops by the end of the year as Toys ‘R’ Us is doubling the number of stores it currently has in the U.S.
In addition to every toy under the sun from all the major brands, the new Colorado store also debuts an arcade experience featuring claw machines and gashapon machines, with Tomy Gacha machines, which are popular in Japan, the company said.
