Movie Review I Tron: Ares

Tron: Ares is hitting theaters and IMAX this week and Big Mic had a chance to check it out!
The film, which introduces Jared Leto as the new Ares character, combines both the latest technology to a film franchise which started over 40 years showcasing groundbreaking special effects and visuals at its time with the original Tron, but has some special retro moments for all the nostalgia feels of the original in the newest film.
In 2010, Tron released the sequel Tron: Legacy which brought in over $400 million and the new film definitely sets up the path for further sequels down the road.
While you do not need to watch the prior 2 movies to enjoy this film, it definitely helps amplify the experiences as there are several references and easter eggs for fans of the franchise.
