Colorado Music Hall of Fame moves from Red Rocks

Jun 3, 2025, 4:59 PM | Updated: Jun 4, 2025, 1:42 pm

The most iconic music venue in Colorado, Red Rocks, was a great place to celebrate the best in Colorado music, but the Colorado Music Hall of Fame has found a new home.

After nearly a decade, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame has been relocated from the Red Rocks Trading Post to the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver, the nonprofit announced Tuesday.

New exhibits have been installed adjacent to the Bellco Theatre Lobby and box office of the CCC, according to the CMHOF, which says a “larger, upgraded, interactive” exhibit space is planned for a different area of the center.

Colorado Music Hall of Fame’s exhibits are free and open during Colorado Convention Center events and for Bellco Theatre performances.

More than 60 musicians, music industry professionals, venues and music organizations are in the CMHOF, including the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Big Head Todd and The Monsters, John Denver and Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Though the exhibit has moved after nearly a decade at Red Rocks, people can still take a virtual tour of the previous exhibit on the CMHOF website.
