If your name is Ryan, you live in Colorado, you’re able-bodied and your schedule is open, you have got to come help set a world record!
The nonprofit organization Ryan Meetup is calling for everyone named Ryan to fill a section of the audience at Coors Field on June 20 with the goal of setting the record for the most people with the same name in attendance at a baseball game.
It’s one of many events that the group is holding leading up to their main goal of breaking the world record for the largest gathering of people with the same name, which was set when 2,325 people named Ivan gathered in 2017. Their largest event so far brought 600 Ryans to Los Angeles.
Not named Ryan? Good news for you too, the group brings all of the necessary paperwork for anyone to legally change their name to Ryan.
The game at Coors Field isn’t the only event in Denver this June either. The next night, June 21, Ryan Summit will happen at the Shambles Tavern. The summit starts at 5 p.m. and is free to attend. It will feature the group’s first-ever “RyanTalk,” a keynote delivered by a Ryan who is picked for their “groundbreaking contributions to Ryan culture,” according to the event listing.
