In the sport of rodeo few names are more recognizable than the name Cervi. Sadly, the patriarch of the Cervi family from Colorado has passed away at 88 years old.
Pro Rode Hall of Fame Stock Contractor, Mike Cervi, who started the world-renowned stock contracting company Cervi Championship Rodeo, one of the largest stock contracting companies and rodeo producers in the country, passed away on March 19th.
Cervi started the company at his Sterling, Colorado ranch in the 1950’s, suppling some of the greatest livestock in the industry to rodeos like the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver, RodeoHouston, San Antonio Rodeo and Stock Show and of course the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
Mike’s sons, Binion and Chase preserve the family stock contracting business and continue to grow the award-winning program, now based in Greeley, that their father started over seventy years ago.
