2024 CMA Awards winners, complete list

Nov 20, 2024, 9:03 PM | Updated: 9:13 pm

The CMA Awards, dubbed “country music’s biggest night,” airs live at 6 p.m. MT on Wednesday from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for its 58th edition.

Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson will pose a triple threat as hosts of the night’s event, this being Wilson’s first time at the helm. Bryan and Manning have hosted the awards show before, three and two times, respectively, and the vets have emceed the CMA Awards together for the past two years.

Wilson herself will be one of the five nominees vying for the most coveted award of the night, Entertainer of the Year, along with Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen. The latter tops the list for the most nominations at seven, while Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton are on his heels with five each.

Accolades are only a piece of the CMA Awards puzzle, though.

The show’s docket is packed with performers: Stapleton, Post Malone, Ashley McBryde, Wilson, Bryan, Shaboozey, Thomas Rhett, Teddy Swims, Dierks Bentley, Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes are all set to take the stage.

The 2024 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, defined by the CMA as an honor “awarded to an iconic artist who has attained the highest degree of recognition in Country Music. The award recognizes those who have achieved both national and international prominence and stature through concert performances, humanitarian efforts, philanthropy, streaming numbers, record sales and public representation at the highest level,” will be accepted by George Strait at the ceremony. The first award of its kind was introduced in 2012 and was given to its current namesake, Nelson himself.

Strait can cite his Entertainer of the Year awards from 1989, 1990 and 2013 as evidence of his “prominence” and impact on the genre.

Viewers can catch the show live on ABC and stream the event the next day on Hulu.
