Aug 14, 2024, 7:08 PM | Updated: 9:43 pm

It may be August, but Colorado skiers are already thinking about hitting the slopes. Vail Resorts just announced Wednesday opening dates for their ski resorts, which include Vail, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Crested Butte and Keystone.

  • Mid-October: Keystone Resort, pending early season conditions
  • November 8: Breckenridge Ski Resort
  • November 15: Vail Mountain
  • November 27: Beaver Creek Resort, Crested Butte Mountain Resort

*Opening dates are subject to change, based on weather and conditions

Vail Resorts has the Epic Pass and, on their website, announced something new with the Epic Pass ‘My Epic Gear’

According to Vail Resorts, “travelers no longer have to buy and haul their equipment to and from ski resorts with the launch of My Epic Gear, a first-of-its-kind membership that combines the luxury of owning high-quality gear and the convenience of a premium valet. Members unlock access to over 60 of the latest ski and snowboard models from 13 leading brands. The entire membership experience, from gear selection to free daily slopeside pick-up and drop-off, is available in the My Epic app.”

Of course it’s Colorado, so weather could change the opening dates.
