In-N-Out Burger restaurants are still new to Colorado, so crowds are big, and people get excited. That can lead to chaos, but what happened in one restaurant recently lead to an arrest and felony charges.
A man has been accused of strangling and slamming down a 15-year-old boy at an In-N-Out restaurant in Loveland, Colorado.
On Aug. 4, officers responded to the restaurant and spoke with a 15-year-old boy who said he and two of his friends were “splashing water on one another” and accidentally got water on a woman. The teen said he went over to her table to apologize when a man who was with the woman grabbed him, “placed both hands around the front and back of his neck, pulled him down to the table and threw him backward onto the floor,” police said.
The Larimer County District Attorney’s Office issued a no-bond arrest warrant yesterday (Aug. 13).
The man accused is facing the following charges:
- Second-degree assault – strangulation
- Child abuse
