Confirmed: Taylor Swift has helped boost the economy

Denver, CO — As the Speak Now singer makes her way across the U.S. fans are traveling far and wide to see her. Consequently, Taylor Swift has helped boost the economy with her Era’s Tour. Specifically, an estimated $5 billion has been generated.

Between hotel stays, rental cars, airport visits and dining out, the Federal Reserve is officially confirming Taylor Swift has made a positive impact on economic growth.

It’s no doubt Swifties showed up and showed out in the Mile High City. However despite the endless lines and massive crowds, Denver’s experience was not unique to this tour.

Beyond the concert going, and if they were without a ticket, Swifties still showed up to tailgate, trade bracelets and get a taste of the music from the parking lot.

Breaking down the numbers

A study by QuestionPro wrote, “…more than $1,300 spent per event with 71% saying the experience was worth it and 91% saying they’d go again.”

Dan Fleetwood, President of QuestionPro Research and Insights wrote in the study, “If Taylor Swift were an economy, she’d be bigger than 50 countries; if she was a corporation, her Net Promoter Score would make her the fourth most admired brand.”

This puts Taylor and the Eras Tour Net Promoter Score at 68, along side the top 3 admired brands such as Costco, USAA, and Southwest Airlines.

Taylor Swift has helped boost the economy beyond the initial expectations. Originally publications like Forbes were expecting her to just barely break $1 billion in revenue. Surpassing that, there is still more to come.
