Remembering Ed Scott

May 1, 2020, 10:43 AM | Updated: 12:09 pm

Ed Scott, Hall of Fame broadcaster and the first president of the Broadcast Pioneers of Colorado, died at home on Tuesday April 28th.

Ed was a pioneer in the radio industry. He played an instrumental role in bringing Country Music into the mainstream in Denver radio and paved the way for KYGO’s success today. We don’t know where we’d be today if it weren’t for Ed.

Our thoughts are with Ed’s wife Aggie and large family of six children, two stepdaughters, 15 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Godspeed, Ed. Thanks for all you did for broadcasting and Country radio in Colorado.
