I keep telling my wife we should buy one of those giant inflatable pools from Walmart, but this sounds way better!
There’s an app called Swimply that lets you rent private pools by the hour in over 150 cities, and Denver is included.
Hosts can rake in serious side income (some over $100,000 a year!), while families, lap swimmers and even pet owners get a splashy, local escape.
This is a new thing, so there are going to be some growing pains like insurance quirks, neighbor etiquette and city regulations, but with built-in safety checks and waivers, the pool party revolution is well underway.
A quick search of the app shows pools in the Denver-area rent for anywhere between $20-$145 per hour.
