Depending on what your definition of a “white Christmas” is, we may get one in Denver this year…
Our partners at 9News say that although the storm won’t be very impressive, Christmas night may be a white one in Denver.
They say that the Denver metro area could see a flip from rain to snow on Christmas night. The winter storm will bring a potential for a bit of slushy accumulation on Christmas night into Thursday morning. Totals will probably not be more than an inch or two, but parts of the Denver area could have a few slick spots on roads, especially on the Palmer Divide and southern foothills where it’ll be a bit colder.
Most mountain ranges in western Colorado a good 3 to 8 inches of snow, with a few locally higher totals.
