No matter how many times you see it, there is always something special about watching military fighter jets flyover, and you’ll have the chance to do just that all over Colorado this Memorial Day Weekend.
The Colorado National Guard will fly a formation of F-16C Vipers over 11 Colorado communities on Saturday and Monday (May 25 & 27) to commemorate Memorial Day.
Flyover times are estimates and could also be canceled due to weather. The aircraft may also be seen between these locations as they transition between Memorial Day celebrations.
Saturday –
- Colorado Freedom Memorial, Aurora – 10 a.m.
- Silverton Town Park, Silverton – TBD
Monday –
- Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley – 10:30 a.m.
- Parker Cemetery, Parker – 10:35 a.m.
- Veterans Memorial Park, Silver Cliff – 10:50 a.m.
- Homelake Cemetery, Monte Vista – 11 a.m.
- Western Colorado Veterans Cemetery, Grand Junction – 11:15 a.m.
- Grand Lake Memorial Day Parade, Grand Lake – 11:35 a.m.
- Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver – 11:40 a.m.

The flyovers serve as a tribute to military personnel who have died in service to our country, and also serve as training for the pilots and do not cost taxpayers extra money.
