It wont be a Hard Candy Christmas with these albums shuffling through your holiday play list | Music City Minute

The sights, smells and sounds of the holidays are all around us. I’ll admit, when it comes to Christmas music, I typically leaned towards "Grandma Got Ranover by a Reindeer and "Colorado Christmas" as opposed to all "I Want for Christmas is You." On that note, I’d like to share a few country Christmas albums that will add a little extra comfort and joy to your playlist. If traditional or classic country is your speed, I suggest "Once Upon a Christmas" by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, "Merry Christmas Straight to You" from George Strait, "The Christmas Spirit" by Johnny Cash, "Pretty Paper by Willie Nelson, and "Honky Tonk Christmas" from Alan Jackson.

For more contemporary vibe there is, "Joy to the World" from Faith Hill, "A Very Kasey Christmas by Kacey Musgraves, "Cheers It’s Christmas" by Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood's "My Gift, "Glow" from Brett Eldredge, "Peace Love & Cowboys" by Lainey Wilson, and "It’s Officially Christmas" by Dan + Shay. Lastly, are a few lighthearted comidic options like " Christmas with Buck Owens," Cledus T Judd's "Cledus Navidad," and Kenny Chesney's "All I Want for Christmas is a Real Good tan."
