Celebrate Thanksgiving just like our favorite country stars | Music City Minute

This week is all about family, friends and feasts. Whether it is your first time hosting or want to try something new - there is no shortage of country cookbooks with heaps of recipes to jazz up your holiday meal. First up is Loretta Lynn's: You're Cookin' It Country. Then there is Alan Jackson's: Who Says You Can't Cook It All, and Kix Brooks’: Cookin' It with Kix, The Art of Celebrating and the Fun of Outdoor Cooking. Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town has a book called: Oh Gussie, Cooking and Visiting in Kimberly's Southern Kitchen and Miranda Lambert's: Y'all Eat Yet is the perfect mix of Tex-Mex and hardy southern dishes.

Folks looking to lean into an authentic meal, should try Hank Williams Jr.'s: Hey Good Cookin', which features recipes for venison, rabbit, possum and other wild game. Of course we can't leave out Trisha Yearwood's classics like: Georgia Cookin' in an Oklahoma Kitchen and Trisha's Table. Finally, one of my favorite books is: Good Looking Cookin' - A Year of Meals from Dolly Parton and her sister Rachel, which brings family favorite recipes from deep within the Smoky Mountains to our Mile High kitchens.
