Normally a baby squirrel taking a tumble at a mini golf course probably wouldn’t be newsworthy, but in this case it is because the squirrel is good and it may be the cutest thing you’ll ever see!
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that an animal control officer was dispatched to Putter’s Pride Mini Golf when “a tiny squirrel took a tumble.”
Body camera footage from the scene shows the officer carefully picking the squirrel up from where it landed underneath a tree on the course.
“After mom didn’t return, this little chatterbox was safely brought to Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance for expert care,” the post said. “Loud squeaks, but a bright future.”
