Boston Celtics guard, NBA champion, and recent Olympic gold medalist, Derrick White is from Colorado, but his trip home this last weekend might not have been his best…
White, who played college basketball at the University of Colorado, got into an argument with a Colorado State fan at the Rocky Mountain Showdown game in Fort Collins on Saturday night (Sept. 14). The argument eventually turned physical.
In a video shared by TMZ, a group of fans are seen gathering around White. He takes a couple of steps toward a CSU fan and is hit with a spinning backfist to the side of the head. After regrouping, he tries to go after the CSU fan who had been pushed backwards into a seat. Security then arrives.
No word on what, if any, punishments were handed out to White or the other fan involved.
