New Denver ice cream shop will give 50 people free ice cream for a year

In 2025, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream expanded into Colorado with its first location in Aurora. The shop recognized as the #1 ice cream on the planet by National Geographic Magazine is opening it’s second Colorado location in March, and they are giving away a ton of free ice cream to celebrate!
Handel’s Ice Cream will open its second Colorado location at 16689 Washington Street in Thornton on March 12th. To celebrate the grand opening, the first 50 customers at the Thornton Handel’s will win free ice cream for an entire year.
On March 12, the first 50 customers in line will receive FREE Ice Cream for a Year at the new Thornton shop — starting at 11 a.m. The reward includes one small cone or dish per week for 52 weeks. You must be 18 years or older to participate in the grand opening giveaway.
The scoop shop will also have giveaways throughout the weekend to celebrate the grand opening, while supplies last.
