Things you expect to go viral at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo; A moment at a concert, a great ride at a rodeo, or maybe a crazy fair food item. Things you don’t expect to go viral; a woman’s pole dancing routine. But can you guess which of those items did go viral?
Of course it was the pole dance. The dance actually led to the Colorado State Fair issuing an apology following the performance on Friday night (Aug. 29) that sparked controversy among attendees and online viewers.
The performance, which took place on the fairgrounds, was organized by a third-party company that had previously performed at the fair. The act went viral on social media, leading to a backlash due to its proximity to children and families.
While some attendees expressed outrage over the performance’s appropriateness for a family setting, others defended the artist’s right to express herself.
Check out the video and you decide if the fair was wrong for allowing the act…
