Despite constantly saying he is happy and has no plans to leave the University of Colorado, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has some pretty in-the-know folks thinking he’s about to leave Boulder for Dallas…
Sanders played for the Dallas Cowboys for five seasons and won a Super Bowl there, and has said the idea of coach the team in the NFL is “intriguing.”
The oddsmakers in Vegas heard that, and they seem to believe Sanders will be leaving Boulder. DraftKings Sportsbook gives Sanders the best chance of anyone to become the Cowboys’ next coach at +100 odds. Behind Sanders is former Cowboys offensive coach Kellen Moore, at +250, and Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury at +350.
IT’s worth noting that Sanders has said he only wants to coach in the NFL if he gets to coach his sons Shadeur and Shilo. The Cowboys have the NFL Draft’s 12th pick, and it’s unlikely Shadeur will last until that pick.
