Miss Trisha Yearwood is going to be on hand at the CMT Music Awards, April 7, to accept the very first June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. The award is named after Miss June as a result of her work as a fierce advocate and initiator in paying it forward and helping others find their voice using their platform to inspire and uplift others. Miss Trisha said she is humbled to receive the award.
Sam Hunt has put out a music video for his song “Locked Up”. Now, the song itself is autobiographical — you might remember when he was arrested back in 2019. To create the perfect vibe, the video was filmed at an old prison, which was a nod to Johnny Cash’s Folsom Prison concert. You’ll see Hunt and his band dressed in black suits and his wife, Miss Hannah Lee, in a conservative black dress, similar to Miss June Carter’s attire from that legendary show back in 1968. Hunt said of the filming, “It was one of the more fun videos experiences I’ve ever had.”
