Three Denver Wendy’s just closed making Frostys a little harder to get

Dec 19, 2024, 4:46 PM

If you love Frostys or maybe Quarter Pound Double Stacks, they may have just gotten a little harder to find in Denver…

In November, Wendy’s announced it would close 140 restaurants over the next few months. The company’s CEO, said restaurants targeted to be shut were outdated and in underperforming areas… Turns out three of them were in Denver.

The three now-closed Wendy’s in Denver are at 2485 S. University Blvd; 515 S. Broadway St; and in the University Hills shopping center at 2770 S Colorado Blvd.

The company did also say that they plan to open between 250-300 new stores in 2025, although they didn’t say where.

There are still 125 Wendy’s stores in Colorado. You can see where all of them are here.
