You can be a part of one of America’s greatest traditions and do something great for those in need this holiday season…
The Salvation Army is looking for people wanting to help raise donations by being a Red Kettle bell-ringer. The Salvation Army said there are paid and volunteer opportunities available.
Bell ringers can choose their locations and hours, according to the charity. Volunteers can sign up by going to registertoring.com.
For those looking for a paid bell-ringing position, they can go to denver.salvationarmy.org to find the closest Salvation Corps location to their neighborhood. Paid bell ringers need to be at least 18 years old.
The Salvation Army said it provides 1,800 nights of shelter and more than 3,000 meals a day in the metro area, and all of the donations collected through the bell ringing campaign stay in the Denver metro area.
