The National Western Stock Show Parade is Thursday in Denver – Here Are the Details

Jan 2, 2024, 4:23 PM

The “best 16 days in January” officially start on Saturday (Jan. 6th), but you can add an extra day to that 16 if you add in the annual kickoff to the National Western Stock Show… The annual parade is this Thursday (Jan. 4th).

Randy Gradishar will serve as Grand Marshal for the 2024 National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade.

Gradishar will lead the traditional drive of cattle, horses and wagons through the streets of downtown Denver to kick off the 118th National Western Stock Show with the parade beginning at 12 p.m. outside Denver’s Union Station and marches twelve blocks down 17th Street to Glenarm Place.

After the parade, everyone is invited to the second-annual Stock Show Fair at McGregor Square! McGregor Square goes western with McNicholas Miniatures therapy horses, music, western royalty, food market, ice skating, and more.
