It’s finally happening… The most fun ever had at a baseball game is coming to Denver for the first time ever!
Comedy, silliness, dancing, and of course baseball is what the Savannah Bananas are all about. The social media phenomenon is finally coming to Denver and Coors Field on August 9th and 10th of 2025.
For fans of serious, competitive baseball played in the MLB, Banana Ball, as the team describes their unique game and rules, might not be your cup of tea. But if you like to laugh and have fun with baseball as the setting, you’ll love it!
Banana Ball has a bunch of different rules, one of the most popular being that if a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out. The league focuses on entertainment with more continuous playing and fewer lulls. The games are known to involve singing, trick plays and dancing.
The Bananas are playing the Firefighters in Denver but to potentially get tickets, you need to join the ticket lottery list before it closes on Nov. 1. Getting on the list doesn’t guarantee a seat at the game. About two months before the game, a random drawing will give some people the chance to purchase tickets. The standard tickets start at $35 with no hidden fees or taxes. Prices go up to about $100 or more for VIP tickets.
