The First 17,000 Fans at the Colorado Rockies Game on Saturday Get a Free Todd Helton Jersey

Aug 16, 2023, 5:07 PM

The Colorado Rockies baseball team is awful this season, so the organization has to get a little creative in getting people to the ballpark. This should work…

This Saturday (Aug. 19) at the Colorado Rockies game against the Chicago White Sox, 17,000 lucky fans will be gifted a Todd Helton jersey.

Helton retired in 2013, and his jersey number, 17, became the first to ever be retired in the Rockies franchise in 2014. Many believe he is the greatest player in Rockies history.

Helton is scheduled to attend the game as part of the Rockies’ 30th Anniversary Celebration. The first 17,000 fans at the game will get a #17 Helton jersey, and then after the game, there will be a drone light show with 200 drones accompanied by music and video.

The game starts at 6:10 p.m. and gates A and E will open two hours before the first pitch. Tickets are still available here.
