The Denver-area’s last drive-in movie theater will be open this season after all

Good news, bad news here… The bad news is the Denver-area’s last drive-in movie theater is still going to close, but the good news, is we’ll still get at least one more season out of it!

The 88 Drive-In Theatre in Commerce City announced today that it will open for the 2024 season.

While an opening date for the 2024 season has not been announced, the drive-in said, “It’s almost time” on their Facebook page. In the past few years, the theater has opened in April. In 2023, it opened on April 21, and in 2022 on April 22.

There’s no official word on when the theatre will close for good either, but it won’t be before this season!!
