At this point, the amount of history taking place around the Colorado Rockies and how bad they are is laughable. Here’s the latest spot in the embarrassing part of the record books for the team.
After the Rockies lost at the hand of the Chicago Cubs in the 11th inning Tuesday night at Wrigley Field, their 21st consecutive series loss was sealed.
Per StatsPerform.com, the team matched a major-league record with 21 consecutive series losses.
It has been over eight months since the Rockies last won a series. They took two out of three against the Arizona Diamondbacks last September.
Colorado is 9-46.
