The Black-Eyed Pea announces Fort Collins location

I am always rooting for Colorado companies, so maybe I am biased, but the best cornbread and the best chicken-fried steak I’ve ever had is at The Black-Eyed Pea. So, needless to say, I am pumped that they are expanding in Colorado!

Although, originally started in Texas, after struggling financially and closing 48 locations, the restaurant was bought by Colorado owners. Now, nine of the 10 locations left are in Colorado, with one left in Arlington, TX.

The tenth in Colorado is coming soon though, as the company announced it’ll be expanding into Fort Collins. The address for the new restaurant or an opening date was not announced.

The new location is hiring, though. Employment applications can be submitted to elyse@rmrcolorado.com.

The other Colorado locations are located in Englewood, Lakewood, Westminster, Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Pueblo, Northglenn and Parker.
