I fell way too hard for the nearly 70 degree temperatures we had in Denver last week. So what’s coming later this week sounds TERRIBLE!!
Our partners at 9News say that a pair of arctic cold fronts will impact Colorado’s Front Range this week. Unusually cold temperatures and light snow showers are expected for the next few days.
High temps on Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the teens and 20’s respectively, but the real cold comes Wednesday night into Thursday morning where temps will dip in the negatives, add in the windchill and it could feel as cold as -15.
As far as snow goes, Tuesday and Wednesday look to bring the best chances with 3-6 inches will be possible around metro Denver, with the highest totals across the western and southern suburbs. Some of our higher mountains could get 5-10 inches of snow between Tuesday and Wednesday, especially along and north of I-70.
