If you’ve ever driven I-70 from Denver to Vail in the winter months, you know this is needed…
Frontier Airlines is adding a nonstop flight to Vail from Denver International Airport (DEN), just in time for ski and snowboard season.
Beginning Dec. 19, Frontier will operate two flights per week to Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), marking the first time the airline will fly into the Vail Valley area.
Eagle County Regional Airport currently has seasonal flights from Alaska Airlines, Delta, United, and American Airlines. United’s flight between DIA and Eagle County and American Airlines’ flight between Dallas, Texas and Eagle County are the only two flights offered year-round on the regional airport’s roster.
To celebrate the new route, Frontier is offering low, introductory fares, airline officials said in the release. Flights between Denver and Eagle County will start at $99 for people booking travel between Dec. 12 and Feb. 25, 2025. However, the introductory fares do not apply to a few blackout periods.
