Star Wars to return to big screen for 50th anniversary

The Force is still strong with the original “Star Wars: A New Hope,” as it will be returning to the big screen to celebrate its 50th anniversary!

The original film was released in theaters back in 1977, and now will return to theaters on February 19, 2027. And, even better news for Star Wars purists – this will be the original theatrical release, and not the version with new footage that George Lucas included in 1997 for a special edition rerelease (Han shoots first!)

The film will be released just a few months before a new Star Wars film, “Star Wars: Starfighter” will be released.
