If you watch “The Masked Singer” on Fox, and missed last night’s episode (Sept. 25) be warned that I am about to spoil it for you…
The show’s Season 12 kicked off on Wednesday night and former Denver Broncos quarterback and general manager John Elway was revealed to be under the Leaf Sheep costume.
The NFL Hall of Famer sang “I Like It, I Love It,” by Tim McGraw, for his performance, and was the first to be unmasked and eliminated on the singing competition.
After he was unmasked, host Nick Cannon asked Elway why he decided to be on the show… “That’s a good question. I’m not sure,” Elway said. “I was definitely not in my comfort zone doing this, but I’m in retirement now, I had the opportunity and took advantage of it.” “It’s great to be here. I had a great time,” Elway said. “I think all the grandkids are going to be happy to see Papi jump out of the Leaf Sheep.”
