Someone found genie lamp worth $200,000 in Colorado

There’s no word on whether or not a big blue genie that grants wishes comes out of this lamp, but, regardless, it’s worth a ton of money!

A family from Fort Collins won the most recent Treasure Games contest by finding a genie lamp worth $200,000 behind Kings Chef Diner in Colorado Springs.

Thousands of participants across the region had been searching for months for the genie lamp, which had been hidden behind Kings Chef Diner since February, as a part of a competitive geocaching event.

A poem served as the clue leading treasure hunters to the location, and the Colorado family was the first to decipher it.

The way Coloradans pronounce ‘Buena Vista’ was a deliberate choice.
