SMC: Kane Brown Shines Like A Diamond & Lainey Wilson Is Peak 2020’s

Listen, it is no small feat for an artist to earn a Recording Industry Association of America – Diamond Certification. In order to achieve this, an act must sell 10 million (or more) copies of an album or single. Well, Kane Brown is now officially a member of this exclusive club. Yep, Brown has gone from wearing diamonds to having his singe, Heaven, RIAA – Diamond Certified!

Just how exclusive is this club? Only eight country acts have a certified diamond single. They include Luke Combs – Beautiful Crazy, Florida Georgia Line – Cruise, Lady A – Need You Now, Darius Rucker – Wagon Wheel, Chris Stapleton – Tennessee Whiskey, Billy Ray Cyrus & Lil Nas X – Old Town Road and Sam Hunt – Body Like a Back Road.

While celebrating the tremendous news, Kane received congratulatory messages from friends, colleagues and a few of the aforementioned club members. Luke Combs said; “I just want to say welcome to the club, man. Keep killin’, man. You’ve always been awesome!”

Speaking of accolades, Lainey Wilson just keeps racking them up, too! According to an X post from U.S. Radio Updater, Miss Lainey, is the first female in history to earn four number ones on US country radio in a single year. Additionally, her music is trumping some of the most successful men in country music as well. Miss Lainey now has the most number one’s on US country radio – beating out Jelly Roll, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. Finally, her run of number one hits has cemented her as the most successful female artist of the decade.
