As of Monday, over 80 Red Lobster locations across at least 27 states were marked as “temporarily closed” on the restaurant’s website, including four in Colorado.
This surprising news left workers at these restaurants in shock, as they received no prior notice.
Adding to the situation, a liquidation company has now announced an online auction for the kitchen equipment and other contents of these closed Red Lobster locations.
The “Ultimate Endless Shrimp” deal at the seafood chain unexpectedly gained massive popularity in 2023, leading to an $11 million loss in the third quarter.
Colorado Red Lobster closures:
- Lakewood – Wadsworth
- Lone Tree – Westview Road
