If you’ve ever wanted to own a pizza joint in the Denver area, your chance may be upon you.
Enzo’s End Pizzeria on east Colfax announced on Facebook that they were closing closing down at the end of June after 28 years in Denver’s Congress Park neighborhood, but hold on a second!
After a bunch of comments from fans of the Denver staple, the owner chimed in and said this:
“WoW! I am completely blown away by the outpouring of support this weekend! This level of emotional response (sadness, tears, joy, stories of weddings and kids and life events) was unexpected. I’m not suggesting we have a Steve Jobs level of emotional branding, but maybe there is something at Enzo’s worth keeping intact. So, please give me some feedback: Is $20,000 (less than 6 weeks revenue) too much to ask for the brand, trade name, menus, recipes, phone number, domain registry, goodwill etc? The equipment and location would NOT be included, so someone would need a restaurant, ghost kitchen, food truck, etc. to make this work. Who is young, enthusiastic and savvy?”
No word on whether or not the owner is being serious or joking, but money talks. It looks like he checks the pizzeria’s Facebook often if you’d like to make an offer.
