Cancer League of Colorado has your chance to jump off of 400-foot building

Aug 19, 2025, 5:15 PM | Updated: Aug 20, 2025, 10:33 am

Some will read the headline of this article and say “heck no,” but others who are more into thrill-seeking make think jumping off of a perfectly good 400 foot building sounds kind of fun. If that’s you, the Cancer League of Colorado’s Over the Edge event is for you!

Now in its 17th year, members of the public get to rappel approximately 400 feet down the side of the Kimpton Claret Hotel in the Denver Tech Center.

Hopeful participants will need to raise $1,000 for the Cancer League of Colorado with every dollar raised staying in Colorado to directly fuel local cancer initiatives. With 100 percent volunteer operation and zero overhead, every donation goes exactly where it’s needed most.

The event is set to take place from September 4 to September 6. Getting a chance to partake is as simple as registering online and then working with your friends and family to raise the funds.
