“Miracle Man” is hiding cash around Colorado to get people out & having fun

Sep 9, 2024, 3:13 PM | Updated: 4:36 pm

Sometimes we get jaded living in Colorado and forget to get out and enjoy what we have. So there’s a man encouraging us to do it with a little incentive…

A man who calls himself “Miracle Man” is hiding cash around the Denver-Boulder area, to encourage people to get outdoors and have fun while searching for the hidden money.

He posts clues on social media, bringing people together from all walks of life to take part in the adventure. He says the game is meant to “bless people” and foster community engagement, while also getting people outside and active.

Miracle Man funds the entire project himself and recently hid $102 in Denver, with a winner finding the prize within minutes. One player, Michael Ellis, who’s now won two prizes, says he plans to use the money for bills and groceries. Ellis says anyone who wants to play and win the game needs to turn on social media notifications and immediately head out when a new post appears if they want to have a chance to reach the prize first.

Players send video proof when they find the cash, which Miracle Man reposts online so no one wastes time looking for money that’s already claimed.

As a special touch, each of the cash prizes includes a $2 bill, which Miracle Man says he’s added for good luck.
