On Easter Sunday, Norah Lee Allen passed away. Miss Norah Lee was a long time Opry vocalist as well as the wife to Oak Ridge Boys’ lead singer, Duane Allen. Allen released a statement saying, “This morning, my wife of 54 years and 8 months took her last breath of air on planet Earth. She had not been feeling well for some time. Her family all spent the night with her last night. We took time singing with and to her, telling stories and loving her every second that God let us share her here on Earth.” Miss Norah Lee was 76 years old.
Sam Hunt has announced the 2024 “Locked Up” tour. It will kick off June 8 in Bend, Oregon, and will wrap up September 27 in Ottawa, Ontario. You will be excited to hear that Hunt will be playing Fiddler’s Green on August 2 with George Birge and Russel Dickerson opening the show. Ticket pre-sales kicked off this morning and will run through tomorrow. General tickets sales will begin on Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m.
