Nikola Jokic Injury Update

It looks like the Denver Nuggets will be kicking off 2026 without Nikola Jokic as the Nuggets announced Joker suffered a left knee hyperextension right before half time during last nights game with the Miami Heat which will result in him being out for at least 4 weeks when he will be reevaluated.
This is definitely encouraging news as many worried it may have been a more serious injury resulting in an even more extended length of time away from the court, but leaves Nuggets fans cautiously optimistic that he can return to the court and help the Nuggets continue on their strong season sooner rather than later.
The Nuggets spent much of the off season building their team up to supplement Jokic when he is not on the court, but last night despite going into half time tied at 63, the Nuggets lost their momentum falling to Miami 147-123.
The Denver Nuggets play next against the Raptors in Toronto.
