Background: Written by Luke, Ray Fulcher and Jordan Walker of Walker McGuire, “When It Rains It Pours” is the second single off Luke’s debut album, This One’s For You. The country newcomer and his friends channeled their inner Brad Paisley to write this tongue-in-cheek, soon-to-be hit single.
Going on Now: Luke’s debut album, This One’s For You, dropped at the beginning of last month, reaching the number-one spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Right now, he is out on the road with Brantley Gilbert, opening on The Devil Don’t Sleep tour, which continues through September.
What’s Next: Luke recently shot the video for “When It Rains It Pours” in Charleston, South Carolina. It will be released soon. He is also set to join Jason Aldean for his hometown Concert for the Kids next month in Macon, Georgia.
