It’s not secret that we adore St. Jude here at KYGO, so this warms our hearts…
There is a national campaign that puts St. Jude at the center of Halloween displays and it started here in Denver. Skeletons for St. Jude began in 2020 when a Broomfield family put together an amazing display of Halloween decorations in their yard. The families kids recommended that they ask for donations to St. Jude from people viewing the display.
The idea spawned into putting a sign with a QR code in the yard and asking for people to donate to St. Jude, eventually leading to a Facebook group with members doing the same thing with their displays across the U.S.
Last year more than 800 homes participated, and more than $260,000 was raised.
As of publishing this article there were nine Denver-area homes on the map participating. Check them all out here.
