Is Mario Kart-inspired go-kart racing coming to Denver?

I personally played Mario Kart back in the day on a Nintendo 64, but regardless of the console you’ve used, you’ve likely played the game, right? Well, how about playing it in real life?

According to a Facebook post from I’m From Denver, a Mario Kart-style racing track is coming to Colorado this summer.

Although details are vague at this point, something like this has been in the Mile High City before. Back in 2018, Australia-based Mushroom Rally let a limited number of drivers dress up as their favorite Super Mario characters and race around a custom track in Denver.

No word on whether or not this will be the same company or even a general area or timeframe, but as soon as we get the details we’ll pass them along. Get your bananas and Koopa shells ready!
