Stories like this one used to happen once a year, now they’re like every other day. This one just happened to take place on a plane that had just left Denver.
The case of an unruly passenger happened on a Frontier Airlines flight from Denver to Houston on Wednesday (Feb 5).
The passenger started kicking seats and hitting a window, eventually breaking the Plexiglas. There was no air marshal on board the flight, so flight attendants asked if there were any law enforcement officers who could help. Tanner Phillips, a former member of the military, stepped in and restrained the man with the help of other passengers, zip ties, and boot laces.
Despite the broken window, the flight completed its trip to Houston, where Frontier Airlines declined to press charges.
