It’s no longer a secret that Zach Top is one of, if not the fastest rising star in country music today. So it was pretty cool to see him rocking a belt buckle from a popular Colorado rodeo on the red carpet of the CMA Awards last night (Nov. 20).
Zach actually spent six years living in the Boulder, Colorado area before he moved to Nashville fulltime, so he has a soft spot in his heart for our state.
That Colorado pride shined as he was all gussied up with his girlfriend, Amelia, on the CMA red carpet wearing the belt buckle he got when he performed last summer at the Greeley Stampede.
The Greeley Stampede gives a belt buckle to all of the performers on their mainstage, including opening acts, which was Zach’s role before Shane Smith and the Saints in 2024. In the short time since he played that show, Zach has sold-out an entire headlining tour, and would no-doubt be a headliner if he came back to Greeley.
Here’s a closeup of the buckle so you know I’m not kidding…
