Billy Bob Thornton is as popular as he’s ever been thanks to the hit show Landman. Personally, Bad Santa is where he won me over, but regardless of when you became a Billy Bob fan, he has a cool project coming to Denver!
Thornton and his rock band The Boxmasters will bring their 2026 “Morro Rock Tour” to Colorado. The tour starts in mid-June and runs into August. The tour will make a Denver stop at Gothic Theatre on Tuesday, June 23. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m. MT at AXS.com.
Founded in 2006, The Boxmasters will release their 21st album, “In The Bay,” on June 12. “‘In The Bay’ is our 21st release for The Boxmasters,” Thornton said. “Songs were all inspired by and either written or partially written in the small beach town of Morro Bay, California.”
The band said its music has odes to The Beatles, The Byrds and The Beach Boys, as well as The Mothers of Invention, The Allman Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine and Big Star.
